NGINXwatch

Hosted edition

Dashboard Overview

After logging in you land on the main dashboard — a single-page app, no page reloads as you navigate.

Layout

  • Server list — every Nginx server your agents report, with a live status dot (online / offline / unknown), active connections, and requests/sec.
  • Agents panel — the agent processes connected to your account, their host, version, and last-seen time.
  • Metrics view — click a server to see its live stub_status gauges (active connections, reading/writing/waiting) and, once you're on Starter or above, historical trend charts.
  • Commands — reload, test config, restart, or check status on a server directly from the dashboard; results stream back as the agent completes them.

Status colors

  • 🟢 Online — the agent's last stub_status poll succeeded
  • 🔴 Offline — the agent reported Nginx as down, or hasn't reported at all
  • ⚪ Unknown — no data yet (just enrolled, or agent restarting)

Where things live

  • Agents → Enroll New Agent — generate a one-time enrollment token
  • Servers — the list of monitored Nginx servers and their live metrics
  • History (Starter+) — uptime percentage and event timeline
  • Settings → Users — invite teammates, manage roles
  • Settings → Billing — plan, payment method, invoices
